FROG 90-Day Algae Barrier prevents yellow, green and black algae for 90 days – guaranteed with a 90-Day Algae Protection Guarantee.
Typically, in a few hours but no more than 24. The empty pod will float to the top of the skimmer, making it easy to remove and discard.
For FROG 90-Day Algae Barrier, start with a clean filter and do not clean or backwash the filter for at least 2 weeks after using a pod.
Most competitive products are liquids that have confusing directions on the back and require measuring the proper dose for your pool size. They typically come in bottles of liquid and are prone to spilling, splashing or staining, and need to be dosed weekly.
