Why Is My FROG® @ease® Floating System Tilting?
Well, worry not—you’re not alone, and there’s a simple explanation behind that groovy tilt.
Now, before you start questioning your hot tub maintenance skills, rest assured that your FROG @ease System is still hard at work, keeping your hot tub water Cleaner, Clearer, Softer and Easier®.
Here’s Why the FROG® @ease® Floating System Tilts
It’s natural for the FROG @ease System to “list” or tilt in the water. During shipping, the tiny granules of SmartChlor® inside the silver cartridge might shift and it’s not uncommon that they may settle on one side or the other.
When you put the blue Mineral Cartridge together with the SmartChlor Cartridge, the System floats in the water with the heaviest side down, which may be at a tilt, depending upon where the granules are resting inside the Cartridge.
If they’re all together on the right side, then the System will tilt a bit to the right.
This slight tilt doesn’t mean your system is off its game. The water still flows through the System, keeping clean, clear water.
If you’re concerned about the tilting, test the water with a FROG® @ease® Test Strip ̶ that will tell you whether or not the System is working.
As long as the top tab on the FROG® @ease® Test Strip reads darker than the Out Indicator on the bottle, the SmartChlor Cartridge has enough SmartChlor.
While a tilting FROG @ease Floating System might look a little off-kilter, what really matters is water care. Despite its lean, your System is still diligently working to keep your hot tub water clean and clear.
