Did you know that some pool owners who have a FROG Leap^® system don’t even realize they have a Mineral Cartridge?
Yikes! It’s FROG’s Anti-Bac Mineral Pac^® that makes all the difference. It contains FROG Minerals, and works together with a low amount of chlorine, creating Fresh Mineral Water^®.

Here’s how the FROG Leap sanitizing system works: 

FROG Minerals allow you the keep Free Chlorine levels at 0.5 – 1.0 ppm. That’s up to 50% less than pools that use chlorine only*. Plus, they condition the water for softness, and absorb acid to help keep pH balanced.

But they last 6 months, or one pool season, whichever is shorter, then they need to be replaced.

Once the FROG Minerals are wetted, or after six months, whichever happens first, they are no longer viable. They must be replaced to get the benefit. Otherwise, it’s an empty cartridge – it may sound full and feel full, but the minerals inside are spent.

If you don’t replace your Anti-Bac Mineral Pac, you’re simply putting too much chlorine in your pool, or worse, not putting enough in to effectively kill bacteria.
